It’s SPam of thE Week! Week!

That’s right, in celebration of getting our 1,000th spam comment, we’re dedicating an entire week just to SPEW. I’ve been getting quite a bit of spam lately, and much of it isn’t interesting at all. Sometimes, it’s just alsdkfjaosilasdmnfasmd. Seriously, why spam that?

On to the good stuff… One thing spammers love to do is flatter you. So here’s some praise from user Sell This Domain in regards to this post:

“Wow you have a talent that no one can top and looks too! Go on that way!”

Oh, I shall!

Sometimes, however, they like to flatter themselves. Take Girl Webcam, who likes my rant about flat head screws.

“I was in the top five percent of my class.” No one likes a gloating… especially if you’re talented and have looks, like me.

Lastly, we have Lakia commenting on the new most popular target of spam bots, a post called SPam of thE Week BOGO.

“The article is great, I got the idea!”

Actually, it appears you missed the point.

User Submitted Super Bowl Party Shot and the Problem with Camera Phones

Here’s a photo, taken with a phone, of a tasty Super Bowl party snack. A special thanks to user Jeremy for sending this in…

Grapes on a Plate

As I mentioned above, this was taken with a camera that’s part of a phone. Although convenient, camera phones lack a certain depth and… realism.

Super Bowl Recipe

Grapes are one of the more under utilized foods for the Super Bowl. Perhaps it’s because they’re not in season. Here’s a quick and easy twist on a Mexican favorite.

Grape Tacos

Prep time: 15 Minutes

Total time: 20 Minutes

What you’ll need:

Tortillas or Taco Shells

Grapes

Mexican Cheese

Taco Seasoning

Step #1: Begin by mixing taco seasoning with cheese. Heat in the appliance of your choice until hot and bubbly. If you’re feeling lazy, you can just buy some salsa con queso.

Step #2: Heat tortillas in microwave for 20 seconds or until warm, and soft (unless it’s a hard shell, of course)

Step #3: Place grapes on taco, drizzle with cheese sauce, and enjoy!

You can also add beef to this recipe, just brown meat.

When did Ozzy become kids music?

My 4-year old son and I were listening to Kids Place Live on Sirius this afternoon, and they started playing Crazy Train by Ozzy. So now Ozzy is in a musical line-up that consists of Teddy Bear Picnic?
