A Plate Of Grapes

Here’s one that gets a chuckle every time I read this Little People book to my son:

Michael, the one with the shovel, is a regular character with the Little People. Did no one catch this or is this yet another instance of designer shenanigans?

You all know about the deranged whack-job that shot up the Safeway. You may recall his biggest beef with the government was with their efforts to control people with grammar. OK… So, it turns out they published a few of his posts to an online forum. Let’s take a look at a few of those, shall we?

“Its funny…when..they say lets go on a date about 3 times..and they dont….go…”

I guess it’s too much to ask from the crazies to at least make a little sense. Let’s see… I count three missing apostrophes, misuse of the number three (if a number is  ten or less it should be spelled), and ellipses issues all over the place. But, that’s not all… here are two more:

“I bet your hungry…”

“…I know everything is made fun of.”

Ending a sentence with a preposition? Tsk, tsk. I could go on, but I’ve got better things to do (there were hundreds of these posts… I only went through the first five to get this list).

Some may think I’m making light of a truly evil man that committed a truly heinous crime. No, I’m merely pointing out the fact that this guy was FUCKING CRAZY. All the dipshit pundits, editorialists, and media types that are trying to figure out why this guy did what he did don’t get it. You can’t get it. He’s insane.
