Memorial Day

In celebration of Memorial Day here in the good ol’ US of A, we’ve themed today’s image. It’s got red, white (well, green, but they use them to make white grape juice, so close enough), and blue (sometimes called black) grapes! If it weren’t for out brave service men and women, we’d still be speaking the King’s tongue… or we’d be speaking Spanish, German, Japanese, Russia, Chinese, Inuktitut, Hindi, Arabic, Malay, Portuguese, Bengali, Punjabi, Javanese, Telugu, Marathi, Italian, Korean, Vietnamese, Tamil, Dutch, Blackfoot, Sign Language, Croatian, Danish, Swedish, Yiddish, Polish, Gaelic, Uzbek, Mongolian, or Kinyarwanda.

But not French. The French are pussies.

He is… de-thawed

Turns out Grape Popsicle’s are more than just delicious…. they are divine. Just two days after being left on the cross to melt, Popsicle Jesus is… de-thawed. That other Jesus took three days (that’s 50% longer) and had an easier job of it. Let’s look at the numbers, shall we?

Average temperature in Jerusalem: 61.3 degrees F

So… Human Jesus had to go from room temp (61.3) to 98.6, or 37.3 degrees of temperature change and it took him THREE days.

Popsicle Jesus had to go from Tuesday’s room temperature (91) to freezing (32), or 59 degrees of temperature change in TWO days.

That means while Human Jesus has a divine powers quotient of 12.43 and Popsicle Jesus has a whopping divine powers quotient of 29.5.

BREAKING NEWS!!!! Global warming puts a halt to National Popsicle Day

Most of the time Global Warming (cue spooky music) causes more snow, less snow, more hurricanes, less hurricanes, meteor showers, construction delays, angina, Fanta, plagues, locust swarms, and generally makes baby Jesus cry.  Now, for those of you in the North East, high temperatures can be added to  the list of unpleasantries.

It’s freakin’ hot… and I don’t like it.

I like what it did to our Popsicle even less. Witness, if you will, the devastation.
