Grapes… on a fish

Here’s today’s image. Grapes on the ever popular fish plate. I know many site visitors could see different grapes on this particular plate every day, but the creative department likes variety.

Mystery bug

I was in the kitchen at aPlateOfGrapes.com’s global HQ when I saw this critter circling a selection of condiments (ketchup, yellow mustard, mayonnaise, relish, and dill pickles). My immediate thought was, “what the (web edit) is THAT!?!” My second thought was, “Protect the condiments!” My third thought was, “I’ve gotta get some photos…”

Unfortunately, the creative staff was at on off-site shoot for the 2011 calendar and only Hugh the intern was available.

Here’s what Hugh captured….

After taking a few shots I realized photography wasn’t Hugh’s strong suit (he’s an economy major), so I asked Barry from IT to snap a shot (he had stopped by the cafe to get a coffee during our impromptu shoot). Barry, as it is widely known around the office, is an amateur photographer who spends most of his vacations traveling to remote areas looking for Sasquatch and other such creatures. Here’s the shot he took.

Take the poll… what do you think this thing is?

Grapes… on a plate

You wouldn’t know it by the first two weeks of content, but not every week has a theme. In fact, about half of them don’t. So, enjoy the first non-theme week. Just grapes on plates; the way nature intended.

Frankenstein’s Raisin

In our last post for National Raisin Week, we have the mad professor’s attempt to turn a raisin back into a grape by submersion it in a hydrogen hydroxide solution and adding electricity. What do you think will happen?
