Off the Plate: Goofy Toy Designs Part 2

Hi, and welcome to our second installment of Goofy Toy Designs. Today we have this gem:

This is one of those vehicles that you insert a zip cord, pull it, and said vehicle is supposed to travel at amazing speeds before crashing into something fragile (like my toes). Now, unlike the vehicle in the above link, this one came from a dollar store and it has one key design flaw: the odd protrusion in the center of the bike is actually lower than the wheels.

Seriously… what kind of mega-tool slack-jawed yokel designed this thing? I’m no Engineer (I prefer Sniper… or better yet, Heavy), but I think this should have gotten caught in design. This isn’t some unfortunate misspelling or even something that may have gotten caught before it went live.

It may make a terrible motorcycle, but it makes a decent seesaw.
